The Ag Tech Hackathon is an event to encourage innovation among undergraduate and postgraduate students. Two workshops will provide training in developing an idea from an initial concept to a commercial reality. The event involves two workshops and a final presentation with the winning team or individual receiving a cash prize and a 6-month incubation period at ThincLab Waite.
While the competition is only open to tertiary students, Institute members can attend the two workshops.
The workshops will be run by Enabled and ThincLab Waite.
Enabled is an award-winning tech and app development company that also runs workshops and training programs in digital innovation, business and product development. It has worked with a number of iconic brands including Coopers, Clipsal and the ABC.
ThincLab Waite is Adelaide’s first agtech, food innovation and wine focused incubator. It provides a nexus for startups, mentors, investors, agribusiness, corporates and academics to connect and collaborate.
