State-run Ag Farms, training in agricultural science, agriculture and farm management
In Australia, does having a university farm help or hinder the teaching of agricultural science, commercial agriculture and modern commercial farm management?
Taking an Australia-wide perspective, Associate Professor Bill Malcolm of The University of Melbourne will consider this question.
Since 1980, Bill has taught agricultural and farm economics in the Department of Agriculture, The University of Melbourne, Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Science, Food Sciences. He has a life-long commitment to training students and farmers, commercial farming and research in farm management economics.
