The Chartered Agriculturalist (CAg) scheme online application system is now ready to take applications. AIA Members and non-members can apply. For AIA Members who do not have CPAg status, now is a good time to get your CPAg grading. If you are a professional member with CPAg status or you are an agricultural professional accredited under a related industry scheme, then you may be eligible for achieving the CAg grading.
To apply, please follow this link: https://cag.currinda.com/register/event/1071. To login enter your Ag Institute Australia login details for Currinda (same as the website) on the righthand side, your username is your email address and if you don’t know your password, click on the 'forgotten password’ link. The application system will take you through each step of the requirements to qualify for CAg and includes the need to upload documents for proof such as your CV and scans of your qualifications, so before applying please read through the steps required on pages 6 - 8 of the Chartered Agriculturalist scheme handbook.
Once you have completed each step in the application process you will be given an external link for completing the online ethics exam. Before completing the ethics exam, we strongly recommend that you read through AIA's Code of Ethics. Once you begin the ethics exam you cannot save and come back to it, you will have to complete it in one sitting. Note that it is timed at a 65-minute limit and passing the ethics exam is compulsory to achieve Chartered status.
The CAg annual fee is $250 and a one-off $100 application fee.
If you have any questions regarding the application process, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
