By now, I expect that all members are at least aware of the Brave New World AG to 2030 conference that the Ag Institute is running on the 28-30 November.
There is an excellent line up of events, speakers and workshop presenters. Attendees will get a global perspective on the EU finance sector and how this will likely impact agriculture in Australia. There will be presentations on new commodity training platforms to assist growers, a close up look at digital agriculture, including robots and artificial intelligence. In a conference first, we will be getting an early view of virtual and augmented reality which is set to make its move into Australian agriculture. There will be a Brave Pitch session, where we have contestants putting forward their ideas to a panel of experts.
Other topics include blockchain and its application to agriculture, developments in biosecurity, a session on how we will manage important inputs into agriculture in the future, and a workshop on building resilience for agribusiness owners in the Human Touch session.
Please take a close look at the program: http://agconference.com.au/program. This week I’d ask members to register for the conference and lock the time into your diary. We are making an investment in this conference and need your support to make it a success both professionally and financially.
Above all though, this is a conference that will unlock significant value for attendees both personally and professionally – I urge you to put these dates in your diary now!
