Workforce Australia’s Local Jobs Program for the Murraylands, Riverland and Limestone Coast hosted the Limestone Coast Jobs Skills and Career Showcase on Wednesday, 13 May 2026 at the Wulanda Recreation & Convention Centre, Mt Gambier. This Showcase brought together employers, training providers, students, and jobseekers, offering a valuable opportunity for industry to showcase their organisation and connect with emerging talent across the Limestone Coast.
At the invitation of the Department for Education Industry Pathways team, Sue Pratt from AgCommunicators with Paul Symonds and Jordan Norman from the Ag Institute-SA, Clare Lindop from Racing SA and Matt Rogerson from Bunge attended the Adelaide Employment and Careers Expo at Wayville in May.

The University of Melbourne recently hosted its Industry Day on 22 April 2026 at its Parkville Campus, bringing together students, industry representatives and university academics to explore career pathways, strengthen industry engagement within the agricultural sector, and participate in professional development sessions focused on employability skills, networking, CV and resume writing, and career preparation to support students transitioning into the workforce.
