On Thursday 22 October, approximately 45 first-year Agricultural Science students gathered at the Eastick Lecture Theatre at Adelaide University’s Roseworthy Campus for another Lunch N Learn – Research as a Career event, supported by the South Australian Drought Hub (SADH).

AWET promotes opportunities to livestock students in SA

Over 40 first-year livestock students studying Animal Science, Animal Behaviour, Vet Tech and Vet Bioscience at the Adelaide University of Adelaide’s Roseworthy Campus recently came together for an Australian Wool Education Trust (AWET) Lunch & Learn session, designed to showcase the opportunities available to students within the sheep and wool industry.

Graduate Research students enjoyed the opportunity to network and present their work at the Adelaide University’s annual School of Agriculture Food and Wine (AFW) Graduate Research Symposium on the 30th September and 1st October 2026. Over 35 students presented long format talks, three-minute thesis style talks (elevator pitch) or posters.
